Hattigauda Classical Residence
Hattigauda, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu
A neoclassical family home with arched windows, carved pediments and warm façade lighting, set on a sloping site.
This home brings a classical European vocabulary to a Kathmandu hillside plot: arched openings, ornamental pediments, balustraded balconies and a brick-clad base that grounds the building on the slope.
The entrance is raised above the street on a landscaped stair, with garden lighting tracing the climb up to the front door.
